China’s cultural products take stage in Brunei

The China Day launched last Friday at the International Convention Centre (ICC) casting a spotlight on several cultural products from China.

The event coincided with the Brunei December Festival and included a number of cultural showcases that include dumpling making and Chinese calligraphy.

The event also brought in the Bank of China, Hengyi Industries and the renowned Chinese electronics brand Huawei into display.

In addition, several frontliners in the cottage industry were also featured, namely those from the villages and mukim consultative councils.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under BIBD Seeds were also present to show what they can offer to their customers at the ICC.

The China Day was organised by the Brunei-China Belt and Road Association, co-organised by the Chinese Enterprise Association in Brunei and supported by Brunei’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as well as the China Embassy in Brunei.

It is the second edition of the China Day cultural event since 2020, which highlighted the friendship between Brunei and China.
