Some postgraduate students at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) recently hosted a talk to promote financial literacy and the importance of investments among their peers.
The students which banded together under a collaborative project, MoneyTree BN managed the event with collaboration from financial advisory firm BR-Vivien.
The event aimed to highlight the importance of financial awareness and investments, and to prepare students with information, knowledge and skills needed to better manage their finances.
At the same time, it also looks to build strong money habits among students.
Panel of speakers during the event include Certified Life Advisors Darryl Tamin and Jonathan Phang as well as Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant Michelle Lian.
